This botanical garden is located in the Plantage neighborhood of Amsterdam. Established in 1638, it is one of the oldest botanical gardens in the world. The garden is home to over 6,000 species of plants, including rare and endangered species. The biggest species of waterlilies, situated in the Victoria Glasshouse, and some other plants here even are the last of their kind in the world!
It also features a large greenhouse, a library, and a herbarium. The gardens are quite extensive and offer educational programs, guided tours, and special events
