The Fluted Cape Walk on Bruny Island is a real gem for anyone who loves a mix of adventure and breathtaking views. This 6.3 kilometer loop trail takes you through some seriously stunning coastal scenery. Starting out, you’ll face a moderate challenge with a gradual incline and a few slippery patches, especially if it’s been rainy. For the best experience, I’d recommend tackling the trail clockwise; that way, you’ll get the most impressive views along the cliff edges.

The trail winds through diverse landscapes, with panoramic views of the Tasman Peninsula’s dramatic cliff-lines. Along the way, you might catch sight of some local birdlife, as the area is popular with bird watchers. This walk was one of my highlights on the island, and if you choose to visit, it's definitely one you don’t want to miss. Lace-up your boots, prepare for a bit of a climb, and get ready to be wowed by some epic, wild scenery!
