Cedar Creek Falls in Mount Tamborine are such a gem, and I've been heading there since I got my driver's license at 17 and it’s still one of my go-to local spots. Just a little heads up, the car park can get pretty crowded, especially on weekends, so be prepared for a bit of a hunt for a spot. But don’t let that deter you, once you arrive you'll have to take a short 10-minute walk which is a breeze and takes you through lush greenery to the stunning waterfall and its inviting swimming hole. Once you arrive, it’s perfect for a refreshing dip or just chilling by the falls. I love how the place changes with the seasons, but it’s always a magical escape into nature. And if you’re up for a bit of adventure, you can scramble upstream to find a quieter, more secluded spot, there are a few different pools to choose from.
