It’s the ideal place to prepare for your journey into the wild. While you’re in Port Augusta, I swung by the Matthew Flinders Red Cliff Lookout. It’s a fantastic spot to take a breather and break up the long drive. 

The red earth cliffs here are absolutely stunning. I kicked back in my car and soaked up the sun on one of the benches, enjoying the peaceful surroundings.If you’re feeling a bit more energetic, there are also walking tracks with historical information panels that offer a nice way to stretch your legs while learning about the area. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick visit or planning to relax and take in the beauty of the landscape, the Red Cliff Lookout is a great spot to unwind and appreciate the stunning scenery.
