These stunning falls in the Bay of Islands are such an easy and worthwhile stop. The unique horseshoe shape of the waterfall is absolutely mesmerizing. With a super short 50-meter walk from the carpark to the upper viewpoint, this spot is perfect for families and super accessible for anyone.
On my visit, I stayed at the Waterfalls Holiday Park, which is right next door. Such a peaceful place to unwind after a day of adventuring.
If you're feeling adventurous, the holiday park also rents out kayaks for around $20, letting you paddle right up to the base of the falls. Experiencing the rush of the water up close like that is such a fun and memorable way to soak in the beauty of this natural gem!
