Relaxing beach with vibrant vibes

At first, I didn’t really get the hype around Bruny Island, to be honest. The start of my trip was pretty grey with clouds and rain. One of my first stops was Jetty Beach, where I had originally planned to tackle the Labillardiere Peninsula Circuit hike. This 17.4-kilometer trail looked amazing, but the rainy weather and, let’s be real, my slight laziness got the better of me. Instead of hiking, I decided to chill at Jetty Beach.

Even in the dreary weather, Jetty Beach turned out to be a beautiful spot. It was like a slice of paradise where I could unwind and enjoy the coastal views. The beach is situated along the island’s rugged coastline, with soft sand and inviting waters. Although I didn’t take a swim, too cold for that! The peaceful and empty vibe made up for it. I’m not sure if the tranquility was due to the weather, but I have a feeling it’s a popular spot that maintains its serene charm regardless.
