Head up to ANZAC Hill for a relaxing break and soak in the stunning views or catch an unforgettable sunset. You can drive to the car park for free, and there are walking tracks around the hill offering various vantage points, some more challenging depending on your fitness level. It’s a beautiful place to take in sweeping views of Alice Springs and the vast outback. With not much action in town itself, this is a great spot to unwind and reflect. At sunset, the desert and mountain ranges transform into a canvas of orange, purple, and red hues, creating a breathtaking scene. It’s the perfect place to sit, appreciate the beauty around you, and honour those who fought for it. Bring your camera for some fantastic photos or simply enjoy the peaceful moments as the light shifts. It’s an ideal spot to chill before diving into the big adventures awaiting you in the days ahead.
