The Art Gallery in Carnarvon Gorge is one of those spots that totally blew me away. The trail to get there is around 12 kilometers return it's a long one, but pretty flat, so it’s manageable if you’re up for the trek. You’ll find it about 7 kilometers into the Carnarvon Gorge Big Bend Trail. When you get there, you’re greeted by a series of vibrant, ancient Aboriginal rock paintings that give you a real sense of the area's rich cultural history. The rock overhang where the artwork is sheltered adds a really cool, atmospheric touch to the whole experience. It’s an amazing way to connect with Australia’s Indigenous culture while soaking in the natural beauty around you.
