Pearses Beach is a hidden gem on the Mornington Peninsula, offering rugged coastline and stunning scenery that you won't want to miss. I never would have discovered this place if I hadn’t met a local who swore it was the best sunset spot in the area, and let me tell you, they were spot on. As the sun dipped below the horizon, I was treated to an incredible display of orange hues lighting up the sky, and I had the whole beach to myself.

If you get there earlier in the day, make the most of it by going for a swim or taking a walk along the sand. The beach itself has great sand and is partially protected by a reef, making it perfect for a relaxing stroll or just chilling and watching the waves. When I visited, I found the best spot to watch the sunset was from the top of the rockface, where there’s a bench with unbeatable views. It’s a truly magical spot to unwind and soak in the beauty of the evening.
