The Koala Trail on Raymond Island is the ultimate way to dive into koala bliss. As you meander along this easy-going path, you’ll get tons of chances to spot these adorable marsupials in their natural habitat, either lounging in the treetops or munching on eucalyptus leaves. The trail winds through some of the island's most scenic spots, making it a delightful walk for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts.
The koalas are definitely the stars of the show here, and you might even catch a glimpse of a few with their babies, which adds an extra dose of cuteness to your visit. The best time to see them is during the cooler parts of the day when they're more active, though they often nap in the trees, so you’ll get to see them in their chill mode too. I was blown away to spot at least 8 of these guys on the trail, it was the most I’ve ever seen in one place in all of Australia.
