I haven't had too many oysters in my life, but out of all the ones I've tried, the oysters from Get Shucked on Bruny Island are by far my favorite. They were incredibly fresh and cream, just divine! This laid-back spot combines an oyster farm with a bar, serving up oysters that are harvested daily and shucked right in front of you. No need to make a reservation; just swing by between 9:30 am and 4:30 pm for a taste of the ocean. They even have a drive-through option, which I used, making it super convenient. Prices are pretty reasonable too, with half a dozen ranging from $17.00 to $19.00, depending on the seasoning.
