Somerset House is a historic Renaissance complex located in central London, overlooking the River Thames. Originally built in the 16th century as a grand residence for the Duke of Somerset, it was later transformed into a public building housing various government offices and public-benefit societies. Designed by Sir William Chambers in the late 18th century, Somerset House has undergone several expansions and modifications over the years, becoming a hub for arts, education, and cultural activities in the heart of the city. During the Winter months, you can ice skate at Somerset House (you need to pay to ice-skate)
