Buckingham Palace, London is the official residence of the British monarch. Originally built as a townhouse for the Duke of Buckingham in 1703, it became the royal home in 1837 when Queen Victoria moved in. With 775 rooms and a massive garden, the palace has been the backdrop for many state occasions and royal events. From its colourful interior to the iconic balcony where the royal family waves to crowds, Buckingham Palace is a symbol of British history and tradition. You must visit Buckingham Palace whilst in London if you are able!
