Brompton Cemetery is a historic burial ground dating back to 1839. Managed by The Royal Parks, it boasts over 35,000 monuments and more than 205,000 resting places. This urban haven for nature is known for its diverse range of interments, including military personnel, notable figures, and individuals from various nationalities and faiths. With its Grade I heritage status, the cemetery offers a peaceful retreat for visitors to explore its rich history and beautiful surroundings. It's open every day and there is no entry fee. It's a fascinating place to explore and lovely for a peaceful stroll.
