Gallants Bower is a beautiful spot in Dartmouth which is one mu top pick as a place to see bluebells in South Devon.

Once an Old English Civil War Fort which was built in the 1640s to defend Dartmouth, it’s now a peaceful scenic spot with views out to the coast and come April, is covered in a blanket of bluebells.

Parking is just below on Castle Road by Dartmouth Castle, and then it’s just a short walk through the trees to reach the top and the views!
