Emsworthy Mire is a charming nature reserve nestled in Dartmoor. With its ancient dry-stone walls and abandoned moorland farm ruins, it offers a picturesque setting for a leisurely stroll or a vigorous hike. In late spring (May onwards!), the fields burst into a sea of purple from blooming bluebells, creating a stunning sight. Home to a variety of wildlife, including cuckoos, redstarts, and rare butterflies, this reserve is a great place to connect with nature and explore the beauty of Dartmoor.
