The Hipple is something of a local’s secret, or something which you stumble upon luckily without even knowing!
It’s a completely unspoilt section of beach along the East Portlemouth coast, which is only revealed and accessible on a spring low tide. About 0.5m is ideal time to catch access to the Hipple.
It can also only be reached via walking along the other neighbouring beaches at low tide, or reaching it via boat or kayak.
It’s a very level beach so when the tide comes back in, you wont have it for long, but if you can catch the right tide with a gorgeous sunny day, it truly does feel like a paradise. Look at that turquoise water too!
