If you're looking for an easy walk that packs in the views then the Top Tor, Tunhill Rocks and Rippon Tor Circular could be the one for you.

This walk is around 4.4km and takes just under an hour and a half on average to complete. The trail starts from the car park by Hemsworthy Gate and leads you up to Top Tor first, which is often considered to be the ideal tor, consisting of three prominent granite outcrops. After spending some time admiring the site and the views, continue up to Tunhill Rocks. Cross the Ruddycleave and proceed up the moorland hill to Rippon Tor and back to the car park. The terrain can be boggy, so make sure to come prepared with the appropriate footwear. The tors are also great for rock climbing, but please do not attempt without experience and proper preparation. There are free-roaming sheep, cattle, horses and ponies on Dartmoor, so take care with dogs.
