Meldon Woods is a picturesque location on the edge of Dartmoor National Park which is, I think, the best bluebell woods on the moors.
At the end of April/beginning of May, the woods are carpeted with the beautiful blue flowers and go for as far as the eye can see.
This is a gorgeous place to walk at any time of year, especially considering its location alongside the river, and with easy access to the Granite Way.
