Sandy Cove is a very pretty and secluded cove near the north-western tip of Devon, on the western side of Lee Bay. The name “sandy” is somewhat misleading as it is more shingle than sand, but it’s really beautiful. Lay your blanket down against the towering rocks that surround it and you might feel like you’re transported to Hawaii or Asia!

This beach can be accessed by parking at Lee Bay, and either following the coast path, or accessing it from Lee Bay at low tide.
