Postbridge is a very small little hamlet nestled in the heart of Dartmoor, Devon. It's got a few houses, a shop, a pub, and even a hotel. It’s slow where the National Park Tourist Information Center is located.
But what really makes Postbridge special is its ancient clapper bridge. Dating back to the 13th century, this bridge was built for pack horses to cross the river and carry tin to the nearby town of Tavistock. And guess what? It's still standing strong today! You can find it right next to another bridge that was built in the 1780s.
