Bolberry Down is a beautiful cliff top area in the South Hams.

It’s the perfect spot to begin a walk along the coast path. You can turn left from the car park and walk towards Soar Mill Cove and Salcombe, or you can turn right and head to Bolt Head and Hope Cove.

It’s a great sunset spot with perfect views of the ocean and the horizon. There are plenty of rocky outcrops that you can perch on and enjoy a picnic.

Bolberry Down is National Trust, so parking is free for members or £3 for non-members.
