Starehole Bay is a hidden gem located near Salcombe in Devon.
This beautiful beach can only be accessed by boat or by taking a scenic walk along the coastal path. It is possible to climb down on to the beach by foot, but there is quite a steep drop so bear that in mind.
Starehole Bay has crystal clear waters and is lovely and sheltered so it’s the perfect spot for swimming. You’ll also often people waterskiing or wakeboarding in the summer!
If you are accessing the cove by walking along the coast path, you’ll want to park at the National Trust Overbecks Garden.
The best time of day by far to visit here, is the morning. Sunrise is particularly spectacular!
