Sentinel Pass is an amazing extension of Larch Valley trail that takes you up to a pass overlooking Larch Valley/Valley of the Ten Peaks on one side and Paradise Valley on the other. Just like Larch Valley trail, it's especially beautiful during the fall.
If you're already doing Larch Valley and can spare an extra 1-2 hours of time, we highly recommend going up to Sentinel Pass as well. It will make for a total 11 km hike with around 750 meters of elevation gain.
To access the trailhead, you'll need to get to Moraine Lake which means you need to book either Parks Canada Shuttle or one of the private shuttles (we recommend Moraine Lake Bus Company.
