The Castle Mountain Lookout sits on the cliffs of Castle Mountain and offers spectacular views of Banff and the Bow Valley.

It's a great early season half day hike in Banff that doesn't have any technical sections and is doable year-round. The route is quite short (around 7.5 km round trip), though the elevation gain of 500 meters will make you feel it in your legs. Totally doable though.
