If you happen to drive the scenic Highway 40 (also known as Kananaskis Trail), Wedge Pond makes for a great pit stop and an opportunity to take a short loop walk around the pond. It's known for beautiful reflections and epic sunrises and sunsets.

Since it’s surrounded by aspens and cottonwood trees, it’s also one of the places to see the golden fall colors.

PS: Note that Highway 40 is closed annualy from December 1 to June 14 , so visiting Wedge Pond is only possible during summer and fall
