One of the oldest Shrines in Japan - rumored to be built in the 3rd century BC. It is home to a Goddess (Kami in Japanese) called Wakahirume no mikoto, believed to possess spiritual power of peace.
Overall, a very beautiful temple worth visiting if you are in Kobe!
