Located in Meriken Park, it is a perfect place to explore Kobe's role as a port city throughout its long history. The outside looks like the rigging and sails of a sailing ship but inside you will find a vast array of model ships and boat types, navigation instruments, information on cruise ships and port facilities, and so on. I was not expecting much from it, but it turned out to be pretty interesting and exciting (and ti is probably the only place in the world where you can see a model ship inside a Ramune bottle) I would highly suggest visiting this place if you will be traveling with kids.
