If you walk all the way uphill from the main Kifune Shrine, you will eventually reach the so-called "Rear Side of Kifune Shrine." It is a very calm and tranquil place that is often overlooked by the majority of visitors.

According to ancient tales, there is a fascinating phenomenon known as a "Ryuketsu" or dragon hole, said to reside directly beneath the Shrine. However, no one is allowed to look into the hole. The Rear Shrine holds a special significance within the Kifune Shrine, known as a very important power spot.

By the way, the road leading up to this Shrine is so beautiful, filled with red lanterns alongside and surrounded by majestic trees.
