Message from Kieran - Exploring Scotland

Scone Palace, located near Perth in Scotland, is a historic house that has been the ancestral seat of the Earls of Mansfield for over 400 years. Originally the site of an early Christian church and later an Augustinian priory, Scone Abbey within the palace grounds held the Stone of Scone where Scottish kings were crowned. The palace, built in Gothic Revival style, was expanded in the early 19th century by architect William Atkinson. Visitors can explore the palace and its grounds, which include a maze and a collection of fir trees.
