Message from Kieran - Exploring Scotland

The Balmoral Pyramid, also known as Prince Albert's Cairn, is a mysterious and intriguing landmark in Scotland. Commissioned by Queen Victoria to commemorate her beloved husband, Prince Albert, the pyramid stands tall on Craig Lowrigan hill in Aberdeenshire. Visitors can embark on a challenging but rewarding 1.5-mile walk through the woodlands from the Balmoral Castle car park to reach this impressive granite memorial with panoramic views of the Cairngorms National Park. It's definitely worth the effort for a glimpse of this unique piece of Scottish history!
