Leadenhall Market is a vibrant and historic market located in the heart of the City of London. With a mix of boutiques, shops, restaurants, and bars, it offers a unique shopping and dining experience in a stunning 14th-century setting. From fine dining to family-friendly options, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Explore the rich history, attend exciting events, and discover hidden gems at this iconic London landmark. This was also a Harry Potter filming location, being the backdrop of the famous Diagon Alley.

During Christmas: the Lord Mayor of London will kickstart Christmas at Leadenhall Market on Thursday 14 November 2024. The much-loved annual switch-on ceremony will take place from 5.30pm, with the Lord Mayor’s speech and Christmas lights switch on at 6pm, unveiling the full splendour of Leadenhall Market’s 18ft giant real Christmas tree, which sits under the breathtaking central star-covered atrium of the Victorian market. The glittering Christmas tree will be decked with a colour changing LED light display, complementing the large baubles and beautiful fir tree garlands throughout the Market. Their twinkling light tunnel also returns, bringing festive cheer to Beehive Passage.
