Hatley Castle Museum, located on the grounds of Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC, is a stunning historic site with a rich history.

Built in 1908 by James Dunsmuir, the castle served as a dormitory and mess hall for cadets and staff officers during World War II.

Today, it houses the administrative offices of Royal Roads University.

Many movies have been filmed here including X-Men, Deadpool and Descendants.

With its impressive architecture, lavish interior, and beautiful gardens, Hatley Castle offers visitors a glimpse into the past while providing a stunning backdrop for exploring and learning about the area's heritage.

You can walk the University grounds and see the castle from the outside for free. But tours are also available.
