The Upper Campbell Reservoir Campground is a popular spot for good reason - free camping, lakeside sites and mountain views!
Located near Highway 28, the campground offers 21 formal campsites, trails, a beach area, and good fishing access to rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, and Dolly Varden char.
Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the Campbell River watershed and Strathcona Provincial Park mountains.
Rules: quiet times from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., no saving campsites, no campfires on the beach, leave nothing behind and clean up after yourself.
This site is open to the public year-round and maintained by BC Hydro.
