Port Alice is a picturesque community built on a mountainside with about 739 residents.
Known for its stunning natural surroundings, excellent views of Neroutsos Inlet, and saltwater fishing spots, it's a chill place to kick back and enjoy the laid-back island vibes.
The town has a cool history, being named after the Whalen brothers' mom and experiencing some wild mudslides back in the day.
From here you can explore further by logging road and hike to spots like Devil’s Bath and Eternal Fountain.
Or take a boat tour to areas like Side Bay, Gooding Cove, Harvey Cove, Brooks Peninsula, and Klaskino Inlet.
It is also known as the Sea Otter Capital of Canada!
If you're into mild, wet weather (we're talking lots of rain but not much snow), Port Alice might just be your jam.
