The Emily Carr House in Victoria is a charming yellow home that was the childhood residence of the famous Canadian artist and writer, Emily Carr.
It's a Provincial and National Historic Site where you can step back in time to explore her life and works.
The house is filled with Victorian-era furnishings, lovely gardens, and even some Carr-House Cats roaming around.
You can immerse yourself in Carr's art and writings, and maybe even pick up a reproduction print or book from the gift shop.
Tours are free (or by donation) and can be booked online.
Hours: Friday & Saturday, 10am-3pm.
