Hydration system (water bottle or hydration pack)
Sunscreen (even on cloudy days)
Lip balm with SPF
Headlamp (essential for sunrise & sunset hikes)
Trail snacks (energy bars, nuts, dried fruit)
Fleece Jacket or sweater
Layered clothing (long-sleeve shirts --> I can really recommend Merino wool)
Comfortable, waterproof hiking boots
Hiking socks (wool or synthetic)
Sun hat or cap
Light gloves (especially in Spring/Autumn)
Warm hat (for evenings and higher altitudes)
Swimwear (in Summer if swimming in alpine lakes)
Lightweight hiking daypack / or camera backpack
Spring / Autumn:
Thermal layers (for colder mornings/evenings)
Rain gear (light waterproof jacket or pants)
Warm gloves and hat (for high altitudes)
Summer:
Lightweight, breathable clothing (Merino T-Shirts, long-sleeve shirts)
Moisture-wicking hiking socks
Sunglasses(UV protection)
Power Bank (for long outdoor days)
Winter:
Insulated jacket (down or synthetic)
Thermal base layers (top and bottom)
Waterproof pants (for snow or wet conditions)
Wool socks(extra warm, pack extra pairs)
Heavy gloves (waterproof, insulated)
Beanie or warm hat
Snow boots (with good traction)
Gaiters (to keep snow out of boots)
