Important Current Information

The Bavona Valley is currently closed due to landslides and flooding caused by heavy rainfall in early July 2024. The extreme weather led to road closures and the evacuation of residents from the valley. Authorities have restricted access to the area, allowing only emergency personnel and repair teams to enter. These safety measures are expected to stay in place until the situation stabilizes, although no official date for reopening has been provided. This small valley is the valley where the beautiful village of Foroglio is located. I hope that it will soon be accessible again.
