Hoven on Gimsøya is a mountain easily spotted from a distance in the ocean north of Lofoten. This is an easy hike with no parts of the trail being exposed. On the top it is quite steep towards the other side, but the space to walk on is wide. It's doable in the winter, but I recommend spikes and snow shoes/skis if there's a lot of snow. You don't even have to do the whole hike to get a good view! :)

Park at the car park close to Hov golf. Follow the log bridges and trail towards the top. This is one of my absolute favorite mountains for the midnight sun. Be careful if the conditions are very windy, as the mountain is not shielded by any other mountains.
