Grábrók volcano are three inactive craters located directly along the Ring Road in west Iceland.
The three craters Stóra-Grábrók, Litlu-Gábrók and Grábrókarfelli have created lava about 3500 years ago. The walking path leads up Stóra-Grábrók. The hike up to the edge of the crater takes only about 10 minutes and is easy due to the stairs that are leading up the path. I would recommend to take a walk all around the edge of the crater and enjoy the view in all directions.
Due to the close location of the crater and the easy hike it is definitely worth a stop when you are on your way along the western part of the Ring Road.
