Before you read the description of this place you need to know that I was born and raised in Austria at the border to Italy. So I really know what good Italian pizza is. And I love real Italian pizza. Ölverk is the place with the best pizza I have tasted in Iceland.

Ölverk was originally a brewery and now also offers pizza. The pizza is thin and incredibly good. Exactly how I like it. The beer is homemade by the brewery and brings the taste experience on another level.

Ölverk is located in Hveragerði which is between Reykjavík and Selfoss. It perfectly suits to go there for lunch or dinner when you have been to the Lava Tunnel or Reykjadalur. The prices are in the middle price segment.
