Ölkelda mineral spring is located in Snæfellsnes in the West of Iceland. The ground around the spring is colored red as the water contains a lot of iron.

Ölkelda was built 1904 by the farmer on Ölkelda farm which includes that this mineral spring is located on private ground. When going there it is important to keep that in mind and be respectful. It is believed that the water is very healthy as it contains many different minerals. You can come and taste it yourself by filling some into a bottle.
