Prospect Park is a 585-acre public park and was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux in 1860. They also designed Central Park. It is one of the largest and most visited parks in the city. It features a 90-acre lake, a zoo, a carousel, a skating rink, a bandshell, and numerous sports fields and playgrounds. It even has a dog beach! The park also hosts amazing events throughout the year, including concerts, festivals, and outdoor movies.
