Doonagore Castle, perched majestically on a hill overlooking Doolin Point, is a 16th-century tower house with a dark past. Despite its intriguing history, the castle is privately owned and not open to the public. Visitors can admire its imposing presence from afar or take in the stunning views of the surrounding countryside and the Aran Islands from nearby viewpoints. Just be cautious about parking, as there's limited space and a narrow road leading up to the castle.
