Mussenden Temple is a charming circular building perched on cliffs near Castlerock in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. Built in 1785 as a library by the Earl Bishop in honor of his niece, it offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. Over the years, erosion has brought the temple closer to the edge, but cliff stabilization work has preserved this historic gem. Visitors can explore the grounds, enjoy the coastal scenery, and even hold civil wedding ceremonies at this picturesque spot overlooking Downhill Strand.
