Clonmacnoise is a super cool monastery founded by St. Ciarán back in the 6th Century on the banks of the River Shannon. It became a buzzing hub of learning, attracting students from all over Europe. The site boasts a Cathedral, round Towers, high crosses, Churches, and Early Christian graveslabs. You can check out the original High Crosses and a sweet audiovisual presentation at the visitor center. Plus, there's a bunch of other awesome stuff to explore, making it a must-visit spot for history buffs and anyone who loves ancient vibes.
