Kinbane Castle, located in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, sits on a picturesque headland between Ballycastle and Ballintoy. Built in 1547 by Colla MacDonnell, the castle saw its fair share of battles and sieges before falling into ruin. With stunning views of Rathlin Island and Dunagregor Iron Age fort, Kinbane Castle is a must-visit for history buffs and nature lovers alike. Steep walk with a lot of steps to get to the castle ruins. Be careful walking beyond the ruins as it is very exposed and path is narrow.
