Doe Castle, located in County Donegal, Ireland, is a historical stronghold that dates back to the early 15th century. It was once the home of Clan tSuibhne and features a four-storey tower-house surrounded by high outer walls on a small peninsula. Throughout its history, the castle changed hands multiple times during the 17th-century struggles between the English and Irish. Today, it is a national monument and offers guided tours of the tower house during the summer months. Fun fact: Irish singer Brian McFadden proposed to his ex-wife Kerry Katona at the castle in 2001, carrying on a family tradition!
