Cill Maoilchéadair, also known as Kilmalkedar, is a medieval monastic site located on the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry, Ireland. This ancient place is home to a 12th-century church with intricate carvings, including an Alphabet Stone from the 6th century and an ogham stone dating back even further. The site was once part of the pilgrimage route to Mount Brandon and is filled with fascinating relics that offer a glimpse into Ireland's rich history and Celtic heritage.
