Krýsuvíkurkirkja was an old church located in the Krýsuvík area. It had a rich history dating back to the 13th century and was used for various purposes over the years, including as a farm building and later as an apartment. Unfortunately, the church burned down in 2010 but a replica was built in 2020 by students and teachers from a technical school in Hafnarfjörður. The church was known for its unique architecture and historical significance in the region.
